Upcycling, also known as creative reuse, is the process of transforming by-products, waste materials, useless, or unwanted products into new materials or products perceived to be of greater quality, such as artistic value or environmental value.
For me: Upcycling is attitude. It makes me wonder, it awakes my creativity and it serves me as a tool to help the planet.
I Believe upcycling is a wonderful chance to start a fashion revolution and an opportunity to develop a closer relationship with our clothes and bodies. Everyone is Unique, so as a consequence we can not pretend that we all can fit in the same clothes right?
I still have a lot to explore with this blow-minding positive technique, but so far I am very satisfied, it becomes like each garment is a creative adventure that later, it becomes physical, I can wear it and feel comfortable and proud.
Combined Upcycling and crochet, forces me to follow and develop my intuition, flow with creativity free of judgment (as no need to follow a specific crochet pattern) which reflexes in my day by day increasing my confidence and self-esteem.
